I am a multidisciplinary artist working across illustration, narrative and participatory practice. These strands weave into one another and are guided by research & mixed media experimentation. I’m inspired by themes of nature, with a passion for animals and creatures. My practice is also shaped by sensory experiences and tactile techniques, working across a range of visual forms.
I’m drawn to how storytelling unfolds through material play - often collecting natural fragments, found textures, tactile materials and studio scraps that invite imaginative exploration. These elements begin in their own separate story box and eventually find their way into my narrative illustration. My studio practice is currently focused on developing children’s books alongside a growing collection of art prints and greeting cards. I create work with young people in mind, a touch of play & humour!
